Secretariat of JPIC: is an animating body of
the Province. This Secretariat will educate
and encourage the friars to work for justice,
peace and integration of creation at the local
and national levels.
The scope of this secretariat is:

To animate all the ministries
and apostolates of the province in the perspective
of JPIC
-
To create consciousness
of the urgent JPIC issues in the country
and enable the brothers to respond to these
issues according to the gospel values
- To work towards the formation of JPIC cells
in the province
- To facilitate a sense of solidarity among
the brothers who are involved in JPIC
-
To network with other
movements and NGO’s at the national
and international levels [inclusive of other
religions]

be prepared by Friar Scaria for International
use of Franciscans on Assisi Day of

Introduce JPIC as a course
in the Basic Formation Curriculum

Contact will be taken
up with Neighbourhood Community Network
(NCN Director Fr. Edwin at Nagercoil) by
Scaria and Joseph, for the ongoing formation
of our pastors.

Training for Transformation
(Pedagogy of Paulo Freire) at Chennai, will
be contacted by Joseph for the sake of friars
involved in Educational and Socio-pastoral
field.

Format on Responsible
Use of Resources for the animation work
of our fraternities will be prepared by

Next meeting fixed for
August 21 or 22 Bangalore, where programs
and budgets will be drawn up
